SCA – Brewing Module

The study of Brewing introduces you to the different ways of brewing coffee, from Chemex and siphon to clever dripper and French press. In addition, this module allows you to get hands-on and learn to analyse your grind profile, match your grind to your brewing method and to scientifically measure coffee strength and chart a coffee’s extraction.

SCA – Brewing (Foundation)

The course provides you with the key information to enable you to sit your Brewing Foundation certification that consists of 2 short practical tests and a written exam (15 questions with a pass rate of 60% required). Successful students will be awarded 5 points towards the SCA Coffee Skills Program.

Course Content Includes:

– What is speciality coffee
– Your greens – Arabica and Robusta
– The Basics of Roasting
– Brewing Guidelines
– Various brewing methods

(Will issued SCA Certificate if the Exams PASSED)
(Course fee including Exam & Certificate fee)
(Credits for SCA Coffee Diploma: 5 points)

課程內容可助各學員擁有充分的知識及技能,從而通過2個小型技術測試及1個筆試(60% 為合格分數)。
通過考試的學員,將可獲得 精品咖啡協會-Coffee Skills Program 學分5分及證書一張!


-認識Arabica 及Robusta

(如所有考試合格,將獲頒發 SCA 的合格證書)
(合格考生亦同時獲得, 歐洲精品咖啡協會-Coffee Skills Program 學分5分)
